Trust and data

Trust built from what happened, not from what you claim.

A B2B ID earns a brand's confidence the way a business does: attributed recommendations, two-sided referrals, partnerships both sides agreed to. Here is exactly what brands see, what you control, and how your data is handled.

What a brand sees

Three things, all of them yours

A business that reaches your B2B ID sees a business, not a feed.

Your business identity

Niche, formats, platforms, markets, offerings, categories you take and how to start working with you. Everything you choose to state as a business.

Your record

Partnerships accepted, referrals made and received, and recommendations from named businesses. Built from activity on the platform, not from claims.

How to reach you

A request through your B2B ID, with structured context. Not your personal inbox, phone number or DMs.

What you control

Your business, your terms

What you list

You decide which offerings, categories and partnership types appear on your B2B ID, and you can change them at any time.

Who you work with

A request is an approach, not an obligation. You accept, decline or counter. No deal is created without both businesses agreeing.

What you share elsewhere

Your B2B ID has one link. Put it in a bio, show notes or a media kit, or don't. Discoverability in Find is part of having a B2B ID; where else it appears is your call.

Your account

Standard authenticated access on b2b.id, with sign-in and account controls managed by the platform.

How the record works

The rules that make a B2B ID credible

Media kits are self-reported. Follower counts can be bought. A B2B ID's record is different because of how it is written: by other businesses, through actions both sides took.

  1. 1

    Recommendations are attributed

A recommendation on a B2B ID comes from another business on the platform and is shown with that business attached. You cannot write your own.

  2. 2

    Referrals are two-sided

A referral is recorded on both the referring and the receiving B2B ID. Both parties can see what was sent and what came back.

  3. 3

    Partnerships are agreed, then recorded

A partnership appears on a B2B ID once both businesses have accepted it. Proposals that were never accepted are not shown as partnerships.

  4. 4

Nothing is ranked by follower count

Find surfaces B2B IDs on the criteria a buyer filters by: category, market, format, offering. A complete, accurate B2B ID is what improves your discoverability.
